got chatted up by a smiley road worker irish dude, he had crooked teeth and smelt of greasy food...

Day Three over already??

Today was a little bit more like a wild goose chase! I drove all day, and drove all day, and drove - all day. Met some awesome people and felt satisfied after crossing off 25 "wineries" off the wine trail map. Only problem was they were so spread out! I even had to pull off the road and stop again for a wee nap. The roads here are madness! All of a sudden they change from perfectly paved roads to unsealed 50km/hr driveways!

I finished my day in beautiful historic Arrowtown eating a dark chocolate and macadamian icecream from delicious "Patigonia"... say it with me "Pat - i - GO - nya". I bumped into Jase from Waitiri Creek - what a small town it is despite the amazing amount of foreignors!

Todays stories weren't really up to scratch really were they? But I've included a cartoon I drew of a cool looking dude I saw hitch hiking on the side of the road on my first day here... I've nicknamed him "Harry the hairy hitch hiker"...
